Stainless steel appliances are shiny, smooth and look modern when it’s clean. Dirt and grease appears crystal clear on these appliances and greasy fingerprints on your stove or refrigerator can destroy its polish. Grease spots are not only have untidy in appearance but are difficult to remove because oil isn’t water soluble, but don’t fret. You can clean the appliances and restore its original look with basic cleansers and with minimal effort.
Here are some steps
Mild Dishwashing Liquid– Mix a mild dishwashing liquid with warm water. Don’t use rough cleaners, because it can destroy its appearance. Dab a soft cloth into the solution and rub the fingerprints on the appliance with it. Alternatively, spray the fingerprinted surface with a glass cleaner and scrub it with a soft cloth. If finish is a brushed stainless, move the cloth in the direction where grain is present.
Rinse the surface with a damp cloth. Remove the soapy water or glass cleaner. Rinse the appliances.
Wipe the area with a paper napkin. Dry off water to prevent streaking. Dab cotton dipped with baby oil. Polish the surface with oil. If any grease is present, the oil would remove it. Plus it will restore its full shine.
