Your laundry is something which you need to do on a daily basis. It is a matter of personal hygiene and cannot be performed by anyone other than you. While doing laundry might seem like a regular chore in truth it is a chore that is quite difficult. If laundry is not done in the right manner, you can end up spoiling your clothes. This would be quite unfortunate especially if your clothes are expensive ones or are those that have been only recently purchased. There are various ways by which you can actually organize your laundry.


The first thing that you need to do in order to organize your laundry is to sort them out by color. You should avoid washing light colored clothes along with clothes that are very vibrantly colored. This is because clothes which feature vibrant shades are likely to lose color in the course of washing. As a result the light colored clothes might become completely spoilt when this happens. Hence washing clothes of different shades together should be something that you avoid at all costs.

You should also organize your laundry according to garments. If you are washing formal garments then you should avoid throwing in any informal garments along with these. By doing so, you will be able to wash the various items in your wardrobe in a chronological and organized manner.

You should also avoid washing dresses along with woolen garments. Woolen garments require separate washing as a lot of wool is disposed off during the washing process. When you do your laundry you should make sure that you wash your undergarments separately from other items. Your undergarments cannot be interspersed with other garments simply for reasons of personal hygiene. These should ideally be washed before you do other laundry.

After washing your garments chronologically you should engage in the process of drying them. Garments when hung out to dry should not be placed too close to one another. If this is done then the color from one of the garments might have a tendency of bleeding onto another garment and consequently spoiling that garment. Thus, there are quite a few effective ways by which you can organize your laundry. If you keep these tips in mind, you will find that you are able to do your laundry without damaging any of your garments in any way.
